Jenny Carleo is an Area Specialized Agent with the NC State Extension at the Iredell County Center. She serves 18 counties across North Carolina, including Alexander, Anson, Cabarrus, Catawba, and Mecklenburg, among others. Her work focuses on research, crop diagnostics, and educational programs related to corn, soybeans, and small grains, with a particular emphasis on disease management, soil health, and market adaptation.
Her research interests span several key areas in agronomy, including:
- Climate Resilience in soybean production
- Disease and Pest Management for wheat and corn
- Soil and Nutrient Management strategies for optimal yields
- Market Analysis for grain crops and hedging techniques
Jenny’s publications over the past five years highlight her engagement in both practical and educational agronomy. Her work addresses field diagnostics, webinar-based extension, and regional agricultural challenges, such as soybean replanting and wheat disease prevention.
