Jenny Carey is a Senior Teaching Fellow in the Department of Education at the University of Strathclyde, part of the Faculty of Humanities & Social Sciences. She is a core member of the Early Years and Literacy Team, focusing on pedagogical development for early years professionals and teachers. As Course Director for the Master of Education in Early Years Pedagogue (EYP), she secured Scottish Government funding for workforce development initiatives. Her research explores identity, agency, and professional knowledge among literacy educators, with a focus on collaborative approaches like the Strathclyde Literacy Clinic.
