Jennifer Waldron is a Senior Lecturer in Nurse Education at Edge Hill University, affiliated with the Nursing & Midwifery Health Research Institute. With 15 years of NHS experience as an Adult Nurse, she focuses on nursing education, simulation training, and interprofessional collaboration.
- Education: DipHE in Nursing Studies (2002), BSc in Professional Practice (2018), PGCE in Health Professions Education (2021), currently pursuing an MA in Clinical Education.
Her research explores nursing apprenticeships, simulation-based safety interventions, and the role of Nursing Associates in healthcare education. She contributes to curriculum development and mentorship frameworks aligned with higher education standards.
Waldron is actively involved in projects like the 2015 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in advancing education equity through pre-registration nursing programmes. She also investigates support systems for neurodiverse students and university lecturers.
