Jennifer Waldron is an Associate Professor in the Department of English at the University of Pittsburgh’s Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences. She specializes in Shakespeare, early modern literature, and interdisciplinary studies of media, religion, and gender. Her affiliations include the Cultural Studies program, the European Studies Center, and the Vibrant Media Lab. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses on topics such as early modern theater, graphic novels, and the history of media.

She co-founded the Gun Violence and its Histories collaborative to engage humanistic perspectives on gun culture.
Waldron’s articles analyze themes like scale in Henry V, ethical performance in Macbeth, and media theory in Shakespearean works. She actively advises graduate students and mentors undergraduate research through programs like ASRA and the Honors College.
Her affiliations include leadership in interdisciplinary initiatives such as the Vibrant Media Lab, where she explores digital humanities and comparative media studies.
