Jennifer Trowbridge is a Professor and The Dattels Family Endowed Chair at The Jackson Laboratory, where she has been an independent principal investigator since 2012. She is also affiliated with the Graduate School of Biomedical Science and Engineering (GSBSE) at the University of Maine.
Research Interests: Jennifer Trowbridge's laboratory investigates intrinsic and extrinsic processes regulating hematopoietic stem cell function, particularly in the context of aging, age-related clonal hematopoiesis, and transformation to blood cancers such as myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Her work intersects aging, stem cell biology, cancer, immunology, inflammation, hematology, and metabolism.

Advising and Grants: Dr. Trowbridge has mentored trainees who secured research positions in academia and industry. Her independent program has been continuously funded by grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH), EvansMDS Foundation, and Maine Cancer Foundation.
