Jennifer Stritch is an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Applied Social Sciences, Faculty of Applied Sciences and Technology. She focuses on interdisciplinary research addressing grief, bereavement, public health policy, and academic support systems.
Her expertise spans thanatology, grief literacy, and health communication, with recent work exploring alcohol warning labels, sugar-sweetened beverage taxation, and nature-based interventions for grief. She co-supervised research on relational safety in therapeutic settings and contributed to projects on academic writing productivity.
Stritch actively publishes in peer-reviewed journals and presents at conferences, maintaining a strong academic presence with 53 research outputs since 2009. Her work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly in health and well-being. She is currently accepting PhD students and has been cited 19 times with an h-index of 2.
