Jennifer Stack is an Associate Professor of Culinary Science and Nutrition at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA). She holds a Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from New York University and an undergraduate degree in Dietetics from Bowling Green State University, complemented by an associate degree in Culinary Arts from CIA. Her work focuses on integrating culinary expertise with nutritional science to address eating disorders, metabolic health, and diabetes management.
She developed nutrition curricula for NYU Langone Health Medical Center’s Behavioral Health and Cardiac Wellness programs, and led the National Diabetes Prevention Program at CIA’s Hyde Park campus. Her cookbook The Diabetes-Friendly Kitchen bridges culinary creativity with nutritional necessity. She has contributed to media outlets like The New York Times and appeared on The Dr. Oz Show.
Her advisory work emphasizes sustainable eating plans and GLP-1 medication management. She collaborates with institutions like Harvard School of Public Health on culinary and wellness initiatives.
