Jennifer Rode

Dr. Jennifer Rode is a Professor of Equity and Human Computer Interaction at University College London's Institute of Education, specializing in Educational Technology. Her research examines how gender, disability, and race are embedded into technology design, with a focus on advancing social justice in emerging fields like telepresence robotics and makerspaces. She combines industry experience as a usability engineer and ethnographer with cultural theory to critique and improve design practices.
