Jennifer Rochelle

Jennifer Rochelle is an Assistant Professor of Practice and the academic advisor for the Master of Arts in Library and Information Science (MLIS) program at the University of Arizona College of Information Science. Her work bridges library science with legal expertise, focusing on law and technology, IP/copyright, and social justice.

Education:

• JD from CUNY School of Law, specializing in social justice and public interest law
• MLIS from the University of Arizona

Her research explores the intersection of libraries and incarceration, library-adverse legislation, and ethical frameworks in information science. She brings practical legal experience from roles in nonprofit organizations, public defense in New Mexico and Arizona, and her fellowship at the University of Arizona Law Library.
