Jennifer R. Breaux is an Associate Teaching Professor and Director of Undergraduate Education at the Dornsife School of Public Health, Drexel University. She holds a DrPH and MPH in Community Health & Prevention from Drexel University School of Public Health, and a BS in Exercise & Sports Science from Rutgers University. Her research focuses on maternal and child health, nutrition, and health-related human rights. She previously worked with Children's HealthWatch and has expanded Drexel's public health undergraduate program since 2010.
Her work emphasizes participatory methods like photovoice to address food insecurity and health equity. As an educator, she contributes to both undergraduate and MPH programs, integrating community-engaged research into teaching. Her publications explore poverty’s impact on child health and innovative approaches to food security advocacy.
