Jennifer Orr is a dedicated Speech Arts Faculty member and Program Coordinator for the Speech Arts & Drama Program at The Royal Conservatory of Music since 1986 and 1998 respectively. She serves as an Examiner and Specialist Consultant in Speech & Drama for RCM Examinations, shaping national standards in performing arts education.
Her educational background includes:
- Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Calgary
- Associate Diploma in Speech Arts and Drama from Mount Royal College Conservatory, Calgary
- Associate Diploma in Speech Arts and Drama from the Royal Conservatory, Toronto
Specializing in teaching children and young adults, Jennifer focuses on Speech Arts, Creative Drama, and theoretical foundations. Her expertise drives curriculum development as evidenced by her contributions to the 2000 and 2011 RCM Speech and Drama syllabi.
