Linda Kundert is a Lecturer at Mount Royal University, where she teaches piano and contributes to music education. She holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Calgary, a Bachelor of Music from the University of Southern California, an Associate Teacher’s Diploma from Mount Royal University, and an ARCT Teacher’s Diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM).
Her expertise spans Music Education, Piano Performance, and Collaborative Arts, with decades of experience as an RCM senior examiner, festival adjudicator, and workshop clinician. She co-founded Cassa Musical Arts, serving as its President and Artistic Director.
Kundert's teaching excellence is recognized through multiple honors:
- ARMTA Recognition Award (2006)
- CFMTA Hugheen Ferguson Distinguished Teacher Award (2011)
- City of Calgary Arts Achievement Award (2015)
- RCM Teacher of Distinction (2016)
She has mentored over 40 students to achieve ARCT and Licentiate diplomas through her studio teaching at Mount Royal University and her private practice in Okotoks.
