Jennifer O'Neil

Dr Jennifer O'Neil is a Lecturer at Edinburgh Napier University's Business School, currently leading the online MBA program. Previously, she served as Programme Leader for the MSc Human Resource Management (pt) (2022-2024) and BA Business Management (2019-2022).

Education:

• PhD in Management from Edinburgh Napier University (2016)

Research Focus spans work sociology with specialization in precarious labor, mental health provision, and career transition dynamics. Current projects examine free labor systems in mental health and emotion work in teletherapy.

Notable Publications analyze employment shifts during energy transitions, emotional labor in digital counseling, and structural challenges in public sector leadership programs.
