Dr. Jennifer Moliterno is Professor of Neurosurgery at Yale School of Medicine, where she serves as Chief of Neurosurgical Oncology and Clinical Director of the Chênevert Family Brain Tumor Center. She also directs the Multidisciplinary Brain Tumor Board, Precision Brain Tumor Board, and the Neurosurgical Oncology Fellowship Program at Yale.
Dr. Moliterno is a board-certified, fellowship-trained neurosurgeon specializing in the surgical treatment of all types of primary brain tumors, including gliomas (glioblastomas, oligodendrogliomas, and astrocytomas), meningiomas, acoustic neuromas, and other less common tumor types. She performs the highest volume of brain tumor surgery in Connecticut and has particular expertise in complex cases, utilizing advanced microsurgical techniques such as functional brain mapping and awake craniotomy for tumors in critical brain areas.
Her research focuses on the clinical implications of brain tumor genomics, with a bench-to-bedside approach. Dr. Moliterno serves on the editorial board of the Journal of Neurosurgery and is an associate editor for Neurosurgery, reflecting her significant contributions to the field.

As an active clinician-researcher, Dr. Moliterno serves as Sub Investigator for the Phase III Trial of Observation Versus Irradiation for a Gross Totally Resected Grade II Meningioma. She chairs the Lovemark Foundation Fund at Smilow Cancer Hospital, which provides support for brain tumor patients. Dr. Moliterno completed her medical degree at the University of Florida College of Medicine (2005), followed by internship and residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital, and a fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
