Dr. Jennifer Mayotte is a Professor in the Healthcare Business and Health Information Management programs at Clarkson College since 2016. She holds a Ph.D. in Business Management from Capella University (2019), an MBA from Bellevue University, and a diploma in Surgical Technology from Iowa Western Community College. She previously served as an associate professor and program chair at Iowa Western Community College.
Her research focuses on leadership styles, organizational behavior, and healthcare management. She has presented widely on topics such as healthcare business strategies, leadership in healthcare organizations, and fostering student independence in learning. Notable presentations include the 2023 Research Forum Roundtable on journal article analysis and a 2021 conference on "Getting Down to the Business of Healthcare."
Dr. Mayotte actively contributes to academic governance as Chair of the Faculty Development Committee and a member of the Academic Integrity Education Committee. She is affiliated with the American College of Healthcare Executives, National Society of Leadership and Success, and Delta Mu Delta Honor Society. Her teaching spans courses like Organizational Behavior, Human Resources Management, and Healthcare Department Management.
