Jennifer Maillet, MA, serves as the Director of Writing and Student Success Services and a Part-Time Lecturer of English at Crandall University since 2007. She holds a BA (Hons) from Redeemer University and an MA from Carleton University. Her academic focus spans English Literature, with specialized teaching in Literary Heritage, Canadian Literature, and Women's Writing. Courses include Early and Modern Canadian Literature, Writing by Women, and Children’s Literature.
Notable achievements include the 2017 Stephen & Ella Steeves Award for Excellence in Teaching. Prior to Crandall, she taught at the University of Beijing and the University of Regina. Her work emphasizes pedagogical innovation and student success, reflecting her commitment to fostering literary analysis and writing skills.
