Jennifer M. Lewis is a Professor of Mathematics Education at Wayne State University's College of Education, where she also serves as the Director of the TeachDETROIT program. She is deeply involved in teacher education, research, and community engagement, particularly focused on preparing educators for Detroit schools serving children of color in high-poverty contexts.
