Jennifer Long is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Lakehead University. She holds a PhD in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Windsor, an MSc in Neuroscience from the University of Western Ontario, and a BSc in Honors Physiology and Psychology from the same institution. As a registered psychologist with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario, she maintains active clinical practice alongside academic duties.
Her research examines:
- Innovations in clinical psychology training and supervision methodologies
- Applications of technology in therapeutic education and accessible learning
- Neuropsychological assessment frameworks for neurodevelopmental disorders
- Trauma-responsive interventions for children and adolescents
At the Lakehead University Psychology Community Clinic, she supervises graduate students' clinical placements. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in clinical and developmental psychology, though she is not currently accepting new graduate students for supervision.
