Jennifer Kuan is an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship and Economics at California State University Monterey Bay (CSUMB), affiliated with the College of Business. She holds a PhD from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business and master’s/bachelor’s degrees from Stanford University. Her research focuses on the structural roles of nonprofits in innovative industries, venture capital networks, and semiconductor R&D ecosystems, combining institutional economics with strategic management perspectives.
