Dr. Jennifer Jasmin Konrad is a Research Fellow at the Department of Art History, Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, specializing in architectural theory, post-war modern architecture, and interdisciplinary cultural studies. Her work bridges architecture, media studies, and philosophy, with a focus on deconstructivism and visual disturbance.
- Education: Art history, ethnology, and law (Mainz and Dijon, 2009–2015)
- Doctoral Research: Completed in 2022 with a summa cum laude dissertation on deconstructivist architecture and perception
Her research explores architectural theories through the lens of 20th/21st-century humanities, media studies, and philosophy, emphasizing visual media development from the late Middle Ages to early modern period. Recent publications and projects address deconstructivist drawing, post-war modern architecture, and interdisciplinary interstices in art, music, and literature.
