Konrad Kuzyszyn

Konrad Kuzyszyn is a Professor and head of the 5th Photography Studio at the University of Arts in Poznań. He previously founded and directed the Multimedia Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź (2001–2011) and led the Digital Creation Studio at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków (2007–2012). His educational background includes graduating from the Faculty of Painting and Graphic Arts at the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Łódź in 1990.

His research explores experimental frontiers of visual media, including:

• Hybridization of traditional and digital media
• Performance documentation and generative imagery
• Post-media and trans-media theory
• Innovative pedagogical approaches in art education

Kuzyszyn has received notable recognition, including:

• A 1998 scholarship from North Rhine-Westphalia
• A 2002 scholarship from Poland's Minister of Culture

He actively curates exhibitions and promotes artistic innovation through projects like Calling/Calling (2022).
