Jennifer J. Infanti

Jennifer J. Infanti is an Associate Professor at the Department of Public Health and Nursing, NTNU, within the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. She holds leadership roles including Scientific Leader of NTNU's Global Health MSc program and upcoming Scientific Director of the HumanResponse master's program (2025-2030). Her research focuses on global health equity, gender-based violence, reproductive health, and implementation research in South Asia, particularly Nepal and Sri Lanka.

Dr. Infanti has led/co-led major projects including ADVANCE 2 (FRIPRO-funded domestic violence intervention study), POCT-BRA (WHO-collaborated antibiotic reduction trial), and global health education initiatives through Erasmus+. She has supervised 3 main PhD students and multiple master's candidates.

Her academic background includes a PhD in social anthropology from Massey University (2008), postdoctoral work at National University of Ireland Galway (2011-2013), and professional experience with the Global Fund (2008-2011). Her work emphasizes participatory methods, policy impact, and decolonizing global health education.
