Jennifer Hennessy

Jennifer Hennessy is a Lecturer in Human Resource Management and Programme Leader for the BA (Honours) International Business at South-East Technological University (SETU). She holds a PhD from the University of Limerick (2013), a Master's from University College Dublin (1998), and a Bachelor's degree from the same institution (1996). Her research focuses on Person-Organization Fit, Work-Life Interaction Strategies, employee engagement, and applying sport psychology principles in daily life contexts. She has practical HR experience, including consultancy work with a multinational company and managing redundancy programs as an HR Business Partner.

Previously, she served as an External Examiner for Dublin Business School (2003–2006). Her professional membership includes the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. She advises students on three supervised works and has contributed to HR education through her role in the MBS programme.
