Jennifer Harrison is an Associate Professor of Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at EM Normandie since 2019. Previously, she held roles at NEOMA Business School (2015–2019), and served as adjunct professor at institutions including York University and Ontario Institute for Technology. She earned her PhD in Human Resource Management from York University (2015), focusing on gratitude in workplace relationships.
Her research interests include gender dynamics, diversity/inclusion, employee wellbeing, workplace performance, and career development. Key areas of focus are the intersection of technology (e.g., LinkedIn) with employment outcomes, ethical leadership, and organisational resilience during disruptions. Her work bridges academic theory with practical HR strategies, informed by her prior experience in management consulting.
Recent publications (2021–2024) explore topics such as LinkedIn's impact on employability, trust dynamics through supervisor self-disclosure, and HR professionals' crisis responses. Her work is published in journals like Career Development International and Personnel Review, with classifications under FNEGE 3–4 and ABS 1–2 ratings. She currently serves as incoming Editor-in-Chief of Career Development International.
Her career trajectory reflects a blend of academic research and industry engagement, with over 25 conference presentations and 15+ peer-reviewed articles. She has advised FP 100 firms and SMEs, maintaining a focus on practical HR solutions for modern organisational challenges.
