Dr. Angela Baron serves as Assistant Professor in Organisational Behaviour and Human Resource Management within the Management Department at University of Sussex Business School. Her 25-year pre-academic career at CIPD established her expertise in evidence-based HR practice, transitioning to full-time academia at Sussex in 2018 after extensive visiting lecturer roles.
Her research focuses on HR reputation measurement, employer branding, and employee engagement, with recent publications in the 2023 Encyclopedia of Human Resource Management covering assessment centers, workforce planning, and HR development.
