Jennifer H. Anolik

Jennifer H. Anolik, M.D., Ph.D. is a Professor at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, holding joint appointments in the Department of Medicine, Allergy/Immunology and Rheumatology and Department of Microbiology and Immunology. She serves as Division Chief and Associate Chair for Research in the Department of Medicine. Her clinical practice at the UR Medicine Lupus Clinic focuses on adult rheumatology, with expertise in autoimmune diseases, particularly systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA).

Research: Her work investigates B cell roles in autoimmunity beyond antibody production, including interactions with T cells, innate immunity, and bone cells. The Anolik Lab pioneered B cell tolerance studies using human and murine models, identifying novel B cell subsets and their pathogenic mechanisms.

Publications: Over 114 articles, focusing on SLE, RA, B cell immunology, and bone-immune crosstalk. Recent studies explore single-cell transcriptomics, synovial fibroblasts, and interferon-driven immune dysregulation.
