Jennifer Grewe is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Utah State University (USU), serving as Director of USU Connections and Co-Chair of the Department's Undergraduate Program. She holds a PhD from USU (2011) and specializes in educational pedagogy, mentoring, and student success strategies. Her work bridges teaching innovation, student engagement, and technology integration in higher education.
Grewe's research focuses on optimizing teaching methods, particularly in online and hybrid environments, and fostering student resilience through structured mentorship programs. She leads the USU Connections initiative, an award-winning first-year experience program integrating formal mentoring. Her contributions include co-chairing psychology undergraduate programs and serving as an editor for the Society of Teaching Psychology's resources.
Her recent scholarship explores AI applications in education, student engagement with emerging technologies, and evidence-based course design. She emphasizes compassionate teaching practices and has been recognized for her pedagogical excellence, including the 2019 College of Education and Human Services Teacher of the Year award.
