Jennifer Foss-Feig is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Yale School of Medicine, affiliated with the Child Study Center and the Department of Psychiatry. She holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Vanderbilt University (2013) and completed postdoctoral training at the Yale Child Study Center. Her research focuses on sensory processing, neuroimaging, and cross-diagnostic studies of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and early-course schizophrenia. She works jointly in the Anticevic and McPartland labs, investigating neural mechanisms underlying shared and divergent phenotypes in neurodevelopmental disorders. Her work integrates behavioral and neuroimaging approaches to advance clinical interventions and diagnostic tools.
Dr. Foss-Feig has received the NARSAD Young Investigator Award (2014) for her study on excitatory/inhibitory imbalance in ASD and schizophrenia. Her research emphasizes health equity, particularly in minority autistic populations, and explores applications of natural language processing in clinical settings. She contributes to interdisciplinary teams addressing disparities in care access and neurobiological underpinnings of developmental disorders.
