Sara Silber is a Postgraduate Associate in the Child Study Center at Yale University's Yale School of Medicine. She holds a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Environmental Studies from Franklin & Marshall College (2021). Her research focuses on cognitive processes in autism and developmental disorders, particularly their impact on early-life social communication and relationships. She previously worked at Penn State University’s Laboratory of Developmental Neuroscience, investigating puberty’s effects on emotion perception and neural networks, as well as computer-based interventions for social perception in autistic adolescents.
Currently, she is a Sara S. Sparrow Fellow in Clinical Neuroscience within the McPartland Lab, advancing research on neurodevelopmental conditions. She aims to pursue a career as a Clinical Child Psychologist, integrating her clinical and research expertise. Notably, she received a Spring 2024 Postgraduate Associate Travel Award from Yale.
