Jennifer Ferguson

Dr Jennifer Ferguson is a Research Fellow at the University of Stirling's Department of Sociology, Social Policy & Criminology. Her work focuses on social inclusion, equality, and wellbeing in ageing populations, with expertise in social network analysis and care home environments.

Her PhD research examined support networks of older people in care homes and their impact on wellbeing. She holds an ESRC Research Fellowship and contributes to the university's Ageing and Dementia Research programme and Dementia & Ageing research group.

Research interests include social statistics, egocentric network analysis, and policy implications for older adults. She is affiliated with the Social Surveys and Social Statistics research area.
