Dr Jennifer Debenham is an Honorary Lecturer in the School of Humanities, Creative Industries and Social Sciences at the University of Newcastle, Australia, and serves as a Senior Research Assistant at the Centre for the History of Violence. Her academic career spans over 15 years with a focus on Australian history, particularly Indigenous representation, colonial encounters, and documentary film analysis.
