Jennifer Dailey-O'Cain

Jennifer Dailey-O'Cain is a Professor of German Applied Linguistics in the Department of Modern Languages and Cultural Studies at the University of Alberta, where she has taught since 1997. She holds a PhD in Germanic Linguistics from the University of Michigan and has extensive experience in sociolinguistics, focusing on language use in relation to identity, globalization, and migration.
