Jennifer Brodell

Jennifer Brodell is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech and Hearing Science at the University of Iowa. Her clinical expertise focuses on pediatric speech and language disorders, particularly autism spectrum disorders, and interprofessional practice. She actively participates in interdisciplinary autism diagnostic clinics, leads therapeutic groups for parents of children with autism, and serves on the board of the Autism Society of Iowa.

Her teaching includes courses such as Foundations of Clinical Practice (CSD:5135) and Practicum: Speech-Language Pathology (CSD:5301). Her research interests span speech-language pathology, pediatric therapy, and collaborative healthcare models. She is also the department’s interprofessional education liaison to the university.
