Jacqueline Carder

Jacqueline Carder, AuD, CCC-A is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech and Hearing Science at the University of Iowa. She specializes in clinical instruction of audiology graduate students and coordinates the Communication Explorers summer program. Her work focuses on improving communication skills for children with hearing loss and neurodivergent individuals.

Research interests include educational audiology topics and the psychosocial aspects of hearing loss. She actively develops clinical training programs and community initiatives to support accessibility needs.

Operates within the RISE-CSD Clinic and contributes to the department's Audiology and Hearing Science research focus. Coordinates autism spectrum disorder and neurogenic disorders clinical services through the department's speech-language pathology programs.
