Jennifer Airlie is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Department of Sport and Exercise Sciences, Durham University. She works on the Moving Social Work project, a partnership with Disability Rights UK that focuses on embedding physical activity advocacy into social work practices. Her expertise spans physical activity and sedentary behaviour interventions, measurement methodologies (particularly accelerometry), and applied health and social care research.

Jennifer has contributed to NIHR-funded projects such as REACH and RECREATE, focusing on care home residents and stroke survivors. Her recent publications emphasize trial methodologies, intervention design, and feasibility assessments. She serves as secretary for the Sedentary Behaviour Council at ISPAH.
