Dr Jenna Corcoran is a Teaching Focused Academic in Screen Media at Victoria University's First Year College. She holds a PhD, BA (Hons), and GCTE from Victoria University, with 18 years of creative industry experience spanning video, performance, digital media, and installation art. Jenna has participated in over 60 national and international exhibitions and festivals, including Edinburgh Fringe and LOOP Melbourne. Since 2007, she has designed curricula and taught across Victoria University's Creative Arts programs.
Research Focus: Her expertise includes feminist creative practice, spatial dynamics in art, moving image theory, and industry-integrated creative processes. Her work critically examines digital platforms and reality media through interdisciplinary lenses.
Publication Trends: Jenna's research explores intersections of digital media, performance, and critical theory, with recent emphasis on YouTube culture and reality television frameworks.
