Jenise Morrison

Jenise Morrison is a Professor and Director of Clinical Education for the Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, within the Mayborn College of Health Sciences. She also serves as Director of the Center for Faith, Health, and Service, promoting service-learning initiatives across local and global communities.

Her research interests center on factors influencing positive student outcomes and the educational impact of service learning. She teaches courses such as Professional Experiences, Integrated Clinical Development, Foundational Patient Management, Professional Practice & Communication, and Documentation. Her work integrates clinical excellence with community and faith-based outreach.

Dr. Morrison is actively involved in professional leadership, having served as a delegate and Assistant Chief Delegate in the American Physical Therapy Association’s House of Delegates. She collaborates with organizations including UMHB Global Outreach, Baylor Scott & White, Temple Community Clinic, and local churches to expand service opportunities.

She has extensive clinical experience across outpatient orthopedics, neurorehabilitation, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, pediatric settings, skilled nursing facilities, and home health. She previously served as a rehabilitation director in a skilled nursing facility, demonstrating administrative leadership in healthcare.

Dr. Morrison leads short-term medical mission teams and is deeply committed to community service, including prison ministry and youth/special needs Sunday school teaching for over 18 years at Temple Bible Church.
