Michele G. Hackney

Michele G. Hackney is a Professor at the Mayborn College of Health Sciences, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, specializing in Nursing. With over 30 years of experience as a psychiatric-mental health and maternal-child nurse, she transitioned to academia, serving in administrative roles including Associate Dean, Interim Dean, and Dean of the Scott & White School of Nursing from 2017 to 2022. She teaches courses in mental health nursing, evidence-based practice, and pathophysiology.
