Jenifer Skiba is an Associate Professor in the Marketing Department at Missouri State University. She holds a PhD in Business Administration (Marketing) from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, an MBA from Western Michigan University, and a BA in Accounting from the same institution. Her research focuses on marketing management strategy, business-to-business marketing, sales management, and covert marketing. She teaches courses including Principles of Marketing, Operations Management, and Advanced Marketing.
Dr. Skiba’s professional experience includes roles as an accountant and clinical data manager, with prior positions at Borgess Medical Center and Borgess Research Institute. Her awards include Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society recognition and a finalist placement in the ISBM Doctoral Dissertation Competition (2015). She advises the MSU American Marketing Association Student Chapter and has published in journals like Journal of Consumer Affairs and Journal of Personal Selling & Sales Management.
Her work explores ethical dimensions of purchasing behavior, cost control in sales management, and the impact of managerial decisions on workforce stability. She actively engages in interdisciplinary research at the intersection of marketing strategy and financial operations.
