Jeni Harden is a Professor of Social Sciences in Medicine at the University of Edinburgh, affiliated with the Usher Institute under the College of Medicine and Veterinary Medicine. She serves as Director of Education for the Usher Institute and Director of Quality for the Deanery of Molecular, Genetic and Population Health Sciences.

Her research focuses on the intersection of social sciences and health, particularly qualitative sociological studies in family health, sexual and reproductive health, and healthcare team dynamics.
