Jeni Giambona

Dr Jeni Giambona is an Honorary Senior Research Fellow at Imperial College London's Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, part of the Faculty of Engineering. She serves as CEE Head of Stakeholder Engagement and is Imperial's main representative to the Major Projects Association of the UK. With a Doctorate from the University of Reading, her career spans 15 years in UK higher education, focusing on research strategy, infrastructure management in the digital age, and stakeholder engagement.

Her research interests include the relationship between trust and digital technology adoption, identity building through narratives, and systems approaches to regional water planning. She co-directs the DfMA and IDD Leadership Development programme for BCA Singapore and contributes to the NSF-funded Infrastructure Architecture Framework. She also participates in the UK CO2nstructZero working group on net-zero funding.

Jeni has managed multi-million-pound research initiatives, including the £6.23m EPSRC Innovative Construction Research Centre and a £10m programme at Oxford's Centre for Corporate Reputation. She coordinates with external funders, industry leaders, and policymakers to advance research impact and infrastructure innovation.
