Helen ApSimon is a Professor of Air Pollution Studies at Imperial College London's Centre for Environmental Policy within the Faculty of Natural Sciences. She specializes in air pollution research, including international policy frameworks and urban pollution dynamics. Her work spans nuclear accident modelling, acid rain, and transboundary air pollution under UN conventions. She co-founded the APRIL network for London air quality research and advises UK government bodies like Defra on air pollution scenarios aligned with net-zero goals.
