Jen Luettel Schweer

Jen Luettel Schweer serves as Associate Director of Health Education Services and Director of Sexual Assault Response and Prevention Services at Georgetown University, while also holding an adjunct faculty position in the Department of Women's and Gender Studies where she teaches gender violence coursework. With over two decades of direct service experience, she is a licensed professional counselor in the District of Columbia and a SAVRAA-trained DC Sexual Assault Counselor providing confidential support to survivors of interpersonal violence.

Her educational foundation includes a Master of Arts and Bachelor of Science from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Ms. Schweer's professional focus centers on sexual assault response, prevention education, and systemic advocacy regarding power-based violence. She develops and delivers comprehensive outreach programs addressing sexual harassment, stalking, and related trauma, informed by her foundational work at a community-based domestic violence and sexual assault crisis center. Her approach integrates clinical counseling with institutional policy development to create safer campus environments.

She actively contributes to broader community efforts through membership on the DC Sexual Assault Response Team and the DC Sexual Assault Victims Rights Amendment Act Task Force, while also engaging in academic innovation as a fellow with The Engelhard Project for Connecting Life and Learning.
