Dr. Jen Doty is an Associate Professor in the Department of Counseling Psychology and Human Services at the University of Oregon, College of Education. Her research focuses on leveraging parent-child relationships and technology to improve adolescent health, with emphasis on bullying prevention, cyberbullying, and mental health promotion. She holds a PhD in Family Social Science from the University of Minnesota and an MS in Applied Family and Child Studies from Northern Illinois University.
Research Interests: Parent-based prevention strategies, digital intervention adaptation for Latinx communities, adolescent technology use, cyberbullying dynamics. She has secured grants such as the NIH R34 (2024) and NIH Training Award (2018). Dr. Doty has authored over 40 peer-reviewed articles, two books, and numerous book chapters.

Current Projects: Culturally adapting digital interventions for Latine families, investigating adolescent mental health through media parenting practices, and evaluating mindfulness apps for college student well-being.
