Jeffrey S. Gurock is the Libby M.Klaperman Professor of Jewish History at Yeshiva University's Bernard Revel Graduate School of Jewish Studies. A New York native active in academia since the 1970s, he has held visiting positions at Yale, Harvard, and other institutions.
