Professor Jeffrey Reading is a Senior Advisor at Simon Fraser University's Faculty of Health Sciences and holds the British Columbia First Nations Health Authority Chair in Heart Health and Wellness at St. Paul's Hospital. With over two decades of experience, he has pioneered Indigenous health research in Canada and globally.
- BPhEd, University of Alberta
- MSc and PhD in Community Health Sciences, University of Toronto
His research spans environmental health, air pollution, exposure assessment, epidemiology, and Indigenous health governance. He founded the Centre for Aboriginal Health Research at the University of Victoria and led national initiatives at the Canadian Institutes of Health Research.

Dr. Reading has shaped Canadian ethics guidelines for Aboriginal health research and contributed to global Indigenous health frameworks. He currently leads the Centre for Collaborative Action on Indigenous Health Governance.
