Jeffrey Pruitt

Jeffrey Pruitt, M.D., is a Professor of Radiology at UT Southwestern Medical Center with a secondary appointment as Professor of Urology. He serves as Medical Director of Genitourinary Imaging and Parkland Health & Hospital System, and leads the Abdominal Imaging Division. His roles include radiology liaison for trauma surgery and primary contact for Parkland Urology.

Education: B.S. in Zoology from University of Texas at Austin; M.D. from UT Southwestern; residency in diagnostic radiology and fellowship in abdominal imaging at UT Southwestern.

Research focuses on clinical collaborations with Urology, Trauma Surgery, and Endocrine Surgery, yielding peer-reviewed publications and national conference posters. He trains radiology fellows/residents and chairs key committees within UT Southwestern and national societies.

Awards: UT Southwestern Golden Apple Award for teaching excellence. Professional memberships include Radiological Society of North America, American Roentgen Ray Society, and Urotrauma Guidelines Panel.
