Jeffrey Ovall is a Maseeh Professor of Mathematics at Portland State University, specializing in numerical analysis and scientific computing for partial differential/integral equations. He received his PhD from the University of California, San Diego (2004), held postdoctoral positions at the Max Planck Institute and Caltech, and served on the faculty at the University of Kentucky before joining PSU in 2013.
