Jeffrey Nealon

Jeffrey Nealon is Edwin Erle Sparks Professor of English and Philosophy at Penn State. His work bridges deconstruction, biopolitics, and analyses of contemporary capitalism.

Research traces philosophical shifts from postmodernism to 'just-in-time' capitalism. Recent publications examine Derrida's legacy and biopower in Foucault's work.

Authored 'Plant Theory' (2015) on biopower and vegetable life, and 'Post-Postmodernism' (2012) on cultural economics. Current work includes literary theory analyses.
