Jeffrey Ge

Jeffrey Ge is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Stony Brook University, where he has been a faculty member since 1993. He has held leadership roles including Undergraduate Program Director, Deputy Chair, Interim Chair, and Chair of the department. His research focuses on CAD/CAM, Machine Design, and Robotics, with an emphasis on geometric and motional challenges. He is a Fellow of ASME and has held significant editorial roles, including co-editor of the ASME Journal of Mechanical Design and founding Editor-in-Chief of ASME Letters in Translational Robotics.
